On November 16, 1903. the owners of the Chicopee and Pittsfield teams exchangedthe location of their franchises. Each team assumed the other teams record in the standings. The new Pittsfield team assumed a 7-0 record and finished the first-half with a 12-5 record. The actual record of the team was 10-8. The franchise returned to Chicopee for the second half. The team dropped out of the league on January 13, 1904.

The South Philadelphia franchise was represented by Covenent Nationals until December 21, 1903. The record of the team was 2-5. On December 28, 1903, the National Athletic Club took over the franchise. the National AC compiled  2-4 record before relinquishing the franchise on January 17, 1904. The Conshohocken Giants from the defunct  National Basketball league, acquired the franchise on January 17, 1904.  Conshohocken compiled a 6-8-1 record.

The Covenant Nationals played home games at National Hall in Philadelphia.

The National Athletic Club played home games at Tuxedo Hall in Philadelphia.

Conshohocken played home games at Columbia Hall in Philadelphia.

Franchise began season in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. On November 16, 1903. the owners of the Pittsfield and Chicopee teams exchanged the location of their franchises. Each team assumed the other teams record in the standings. The new Chicopee team assumed a a 5-3 record and finished the first-half with a 16-3 record. The actual record of the team was 18-0. At the beginning of the second half of the season, the franchise was moved to Springfield, Massachusetts, replacing the existing team in that city.
