SPRINGFIELD* - 1903-1904

Franchise began season in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. On November 16, 1903. the owners of the Pittsfield and Chicopee teams exchanged the location of their franchises. Each team assumed the other teams record in the standings. The new Chicopee team assumed a a 5-3 record and finished the first-half with a 16-3 record. The actual record of the team was 18-0. At the beginning of the second half of the season, the franchise was moved to Springfield, Massachusetts, replacing the existing team in that city.

Played Chicopee home games at the Town Hall. Played Springfield home games at Whitney Rink – Seating capacity – 800
