STATISTICS & HISTORY
Bob Griebe was slow afoot and a notoriously poor shooter, but he played professional basketball for 19 seasons because he was a dogged, bone-crunching defender. He was equally comfortable playing center or guard. Benny Borgmann, one of the greatest scorer’s of the era, rated Griebe at near the top of his list of toughest opponents.
