STATISTICS & HISTORY
After serving in the army World War II, Dick Lynch entered Loras College midway through the 1943-44 school year. Over the course of the next three and half years, Lynch led Loras to three consecutive Iowa Conference titles, losing only one game in the process. Lynch was moved well for a big man. After playing at center for two and half seasons, i Lynch became the team’s playmaking guard during his senior year. In 1947, Lynch played seven games of professional basketball for the Waterloo Hawks in the short-lived Professional Basketball League of America.
