STATISTICS & HISTORY
Henry “Red” Skurnick was a schoolboy basketball star, who led at Commerce High School to two consecutive New York York City PSAL championships. After just one year of college, Skurnick was signed to play professional basketball in Akron Wellocks in the Crntral Basketball League. Skurnick remained in the Midwest for the next seven years playing for teams in Cleveland and Chicago.
