Albie “Fatty” Albert was among the best scorers in the early years of professional basketball in Massachusetts. He led the Massachusetts State Basketball League in scoring during the 1899-00 season, his first year in pro basketball. He followed that up with two more top-3 finishes among all scorers the next two seasons.
