Chet Rogowicz played football, basketball and baseball at Township. He then attended Susquhanna College Eraned 4 varsity letters in one year and served as captain of football basketball and baseball teams.
In his very frst season, Rogowicz coached Pottsville HS to the 19226 Eastern Pennsylvania Championship Ten years later, Rogowicz coached Newport Township HS to the 1936 the the Pennsylavania State championship. Newport Township HS.and was runner up the flollowing year
