STATISTICS & HISTORY
Dave Beaver graduated from Schenectady High School in 1910. He starred , along with his twin brother, Jake, in football, basketball and baseball at Union College in Schenectady, New York. Union College posted a 35-5 record in basketball during the Beaver brothers’ three varsity seasons. In the fall of 1915, Jake moved to New York City to enter grad school at Columbia Universty while Dave remained upstate to play professional basketball in the New York State League. Over the following two seasons, the Beaver brothers rejoined to play a handful of professional games in New York and for Nanticoke in the Pennsylsvania State Basketball League.
