George Wilson played from 1937 until 1946 for the Chicago Bears in the National Professional Football League.. He was named to the Pro Bowl three times and was selected as a first -team All-Pro in 1942. Wilson was head Coach of the Detroit Lions (1957-64) and the Miami Dolphins (1966-69).
