Harry Glotzer was high school basketball star at Thomas Jefferson High School in Brooklyn. In his senor year, he was captain of the Brooklyn PSAL championship team and was named to the All-PSAL All-Star team. After one year of independent basketball , Glotzer enrolled at N.Y.U were he was captain of the freshmen basketball team. Glotzer seemed on a path to basketball stardom, but it never happened. He played a few years of independent basketball and appeared in one game for the Brooklyn Americans in the American Basketball League.
