STATISTICS & HISTORY
Howell Williams was a well known football and basketball player in the coal mining region of Eastern Pennsylvania. In his only full season in professional basketball, he finished third in scoring in the Pennsylvania State Basketball League during the 1914-15 season. Williams died in a military aviation accident in Texas in 1918. He was 29 years old.
