Mauurice Hosier was three sport-star at Spiceland (Indiana) High School. At Butler University, he was the starting quarterback on the football team and star guard on the 1928-29 national champion basketball team. After a short illness, Hosier passed away in the spring of of 1938 at the age of 30.
