STATISTICS & HISTORY
Max Morris attended high school in West Frankfort, Illinois. He later attended the University of Illinois and and Northwestern University where in 1945 he named a football All-American . The following year Morris was also selected as a consensus All-American basketball player.After graduating from Northwestern, Morris played three seasons of professional football in the All-American Football Conference for the Chicago Rockets (1946 &1947) and the Brooklyn Dodgers (1948). Morris played professional basketball for five seasons.
