STATISTICS & HISTORY
Sam Milanovich was basketball star at Alliquippa High School in in Pennsylvania. He played three years of varsity basketball at the University of Pittsburgh. Milanovich served for four year in the army during World War II. While in the service , he played three games over two seasons for the Wilmington Bombers in the American Basketball League. After the war, Milanovich returned Aliquippa where he coached the high school basketball team for eight seasons. He later become the school’s principal and then superintendent of the district.
