STATISTICS & HISTORY
In the mid-1920’s, Victor Till was a standout player on the George Washington High School basketball team, one of the best scholastic teams in New York City. After graduation from high school, Till attracted the attention of professional basketball teams because of his 6 foot 7 inch height, but his skills were limited and his major league career consisted of just one late season game in the American Basketball League. Till attained much more success as a stock broker with the Charles D. Smith Company. Later, Till moved to Florida he he became a real estate developer and gained considerable renown as a yachtsman and sport fisherman.
