STATISTICS & HISTORY
George Honchcliffe was a basketball and baseball standout at Gorton High School in Yonkers, New York. He starred again in both sports at Manhattan College and St.John’s University. Hinchcliiffe was the basketball coach at St. Francis College for two seasons (1930-32). Hinchcliffe played on semi-pro basketball and baseball teams in Yonkers throughout the the 1930’s.
