JOE LORD

Joe Lord was a high school basketball star in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Lord played four years varsity basketball at Villanova University, interrupted by three years of service in the Army Air Corp during World War II. In his senior year, Lord was captain and leading scorer of the Wildcats.  Lord played just four major-league games with the Rochester Royals. He enjoyed success in the minor-league Eastern Basketball league where he was the EBL’s highest scoring guard in both 1949 and 1950.
