Leo Klier, was a two-time consensus first-team All-American (1944 and 1946) at Notre Dame.  He missed the 1944-45  serving in the Navy during World War II. Klier had a successful five-year professional basket career for three different Indiana teams: Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Anderson.
