GIL HALSTEAD

Gil Halstead graduated from Brooklyn’s Adelphi Academy were he excelled at football, basketball and baseball. He was a Helms Foundation All-American at Cornell University for 1913 and 1914. Halstead was named the Helms Foundation College Player of the Year for 1914.
