GEORGE SVENDSEN
George Svendsen was a star athlete at Marshall High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He played freshmen football and basketball at the Oregon State University before enrolling at the University of Minneasota for his sophmore year. Svendsen lettered in both football and basketball during each of his three years at Minnesota. After graduation in 1935, Svendsen played four years of professional basketball, mainly with independent teams. Svendsen also played professional football with the Green Bay Packers for five seasons where he stood out as one of the best centers in the National Football League. His pro football career was cut short by his service in the Army during World War II.

BILL SUMERIX
Bill Sumerix was a star center at Garfield high School in Akron, Ohio. For the next decade, Sumerix was a fixture on the top amateur and independent pro teams in the Akron area. In February of 1941, Sumerix was signed to play one game for theHammond Ciesar All-Americans when they arrived in Akron without the mandatory number of players for a National Basketball League game. Sumerix scored two points in his first and only major league game.

BILLY SULLIVAN
Billy Sullivan was a basketball and baseball star at Holyoke (Massachusetts) High School. Sullivan attended Seton Hall University in New Jersey where he played three years of varsity baseball and captained the team in his senior year. Sullivan played professional basketball for three tears in the Interstate League. He was a top ten scorer during the 1919-20 season while playing for Turner Falls. From 1930 through 1946, Sullivan coached baseball at Holyoke High School.
